I have read so many good things about Robin at United Custom Contractors, that we used them last summer for a small project to replace closet doors, then really enjoyed how prompt and easy to work with they were. So this winter they came into our unit in Brandywine and did a lovely redo with new doorknobs, light fixtures, bathroom updates and fresh paint. Looks like new, and they were reliable, and reasonable. Left the unit clean and finished on time. The operations manager Zach was always quick to answer any questions and it feels good to have the work done before we start using it this season.

We are new owners in Sea Colony west and unfortunately, had a kitchen pipe burst which caused quite a bit of damage. We were referred to United Custom Contractors and I would like to say they were absolutely wonderful to deal with!! They were very professional throughout the entire project, even helping us choose new cabinets and matching the existing paint colors. We returned to Sea Colony last June to purchase our new home on the east side. It was last renovated in the late 80's, so based on several referrals and a fair price we had United Custom Contractors complete the ground-up renovation. From the time of demolition until the time of completion, the unit was always kept clean and organized. Also each of the contractors we met were very polite and respectful. We are very pleased with the entire rebuild and we will most certainly contact them with all other work in the future.

In November, we had United Custom Contractors (UCC) replace all of the original, single-pane, glass windows in our unit with Pella Impervia windows and our two sliding glass doors. UCC was highly recommended, and among three quotes, the most competitive. Zach addressed all of our requirements, was very responsive to our questions, established an impressive timeline, worked with Sea Colony Property Management, and supervised the job from start to finish. UCC performed the installation in a timely and efficient manner, the windows and framing are beautiful, and the workmanship of the UCC installers is outstanding. Upon completion of the installation, UCC had the unit professionally cleaned to the extent that you would not have known that any construction had taken place. We are very happy with the installation, the experience, and we highly recommend United Custom Contractors for this work.

We just had our kitchen renovated by United Custom Contractors. Robin and Zach are great to work with. They handled all of our requests and were very patient and relaxed. The kitchen was completely gutted, and the washer-dryer moved to the hall closet behind the kitchen. It was not a simple job but it came out really nicely, with a large new washer dryer fitting perfectly in the closet. Now it hardly makes a sound when you're running it. The granite counters look awesome, and they added a number of very nice enhancements including dimmable under-cabinet LED lighting, a bump out for added room, some custom tile work, terrific recessed lights, double-layer silverware drawer and tons of cabinet space. They also handled a number of small issues around the condo. The place looks fabulous, and it was all very reasonable!

Robin Salisbury, owner of United Custom Contractors remodeled our unit. He took us to various units to see first hand what great work he does and to offer suggestions that would work for our needs. He and his team did an outstanding job. They did everything from remodeling two bathrooms to removing wallpaper, painting the entire condo, re-plumbing pipes, electrical work, moving laundry facilities from kitchen area to hall, adding a half wall in the loft etc. Robin and Ronnie kept close contact with us during the process and sent progress pictures. They are very trustworthy, offer a fair price and are so easy to work with especially since we are over 6 hours away from Bethany Beach. We highly recommend Robin and United Custom Contractors.

We just finished a full renovation of our Edgewater unit. My wife and I are thrilled by the result. Robin and Zach were great to work with. Robin is engaged right from the beginning and Zach handles the day to day once construction begins. They are both quite responsive to requests and changes along the way. A word of advise for anyone thinking of such a project. If you do your research on products and materials and known clearly what you want to achieve you will be rewarded. Contractors can't read minds. You are your own general contractor. But back to UCC - I highly recommend them for your renovation project.

Our complete renovation project started out with a very quick return call from United Contractors. We don't live in the area so a lot was done via phone calls. Meeting Robin and Zachary was pleasant, fun, and we were very confident in their abilities to make this renovation as easy as possible. The project started with Robin showing us several units he had renovated and we were very impressed with his talent and carpentry work! United Contractors gave us names of suppliers they worked with and called them ahead of time for us and made the appointments. Everything went very smoothly and it was fun to see our unit transformed into the beautiful home it is today! A few trips were made to Delaware to see the progress and be driven around in the pouring rain by Robin himself! The items we chose were all available, delivered on time, and installed beautifully by United Custom Contractors! We were so happy with all the work, and if we weren't, United Custom Contractors made any changes we requested. Great attitudes, wonderful work ethics, and they have become lovely friends!! When we visit our place in Delaware we always call Robin and say hello or have a friendly cup of cheer together! We also recommend them to whoever asks us about our beautiful renovation! We also just had United Custom Contractors completely remodel our kitchen. Robin Salisbury and Zack met every challenge on a complicated project. We removed two walls and expanded our kitchen into a open floor plan. They handled the complete project including raising the ceiling , installing custom cabinets, custom building a cabinet to hide the washer/dryer ,new flooring and appliance installation. Being full-time residents we have seen a lot of remodels but ours totally exceeds anything we have seen before . The project was finished on time and on budget which is rare today. I just want to add to the accolades for United Custom Contractors. They just completed a top to bottom painting of the inside of our condo in Sea Colony. This was done in two parts; the ceiling and walls followed by the trim along with doors. Multiple colors and shades were applied at our request. All of the work was done flawlessly and our property was left spotless after completion, there was virtually nothing to clean up afterwards.
